About The Computer Guy

What can I say? I am just a normal guy, with a normal family (so I think anyway) with a very different sence of humor. Oh - and I cannot spell for the life of me sometimes.

That is me on the left. My name is Joseph Schoen (Joe) or The Computer Guy. I started my computer experience back several years ago (11 years or so) when I was promoted to Computer Supervisor of a well known chain of stores that shall remain nameless for now. One of the reasons I was promoted was becuase I could sell. Why? Because I learned the product and could explain it to in lamest terms to people so they felt comfortable with their purchase(s).

Later in life, I started teaching computer classes through a local recreation department to adults. After a year or so, people started asking me to help them out with their computer problems and that is when The Computer Guy was born.

I started fixing, servicing, maintain computers ever since. All in all, it has been about 7 or 8 years, and the official The Computer Guy has been around since June 2006. I have never advertised, except here on the web or in classes. I tell people that if they like my service, spread the word to those you like.

My clients include, family and friends both new and old. Everyone I come in contact with I enjoy, and that is the reason it is still going today. I manage 3 bank's, a law firm and many other small businesses around the area as well as all the individual home users.
